Mission Green Earth project

“We need to find ways of maintaining harmony in the environment while progressing in science, and technology. This is the biggest challenge of this century.”~ Sri Sri
His Holiness's birthday celebration started early in the morning at 6 am with Sudarshan Kriya.
As part of the ongoing Mission Green Earth project undertaken by the Art of Living, over 280 Fruiting Tree saplings were planted at the Foundation’s International Center in Bangalore, (India) on May 13. This day bears special significance as it marks the birthday of HH Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s birthday. The planted saplings are symbolic of Sri Sri’s commitment towards environmental sustainability, and preservation.
The Mission Green Earth project envisages the plantation of 55 million trees from the period of one year beginning June 2008.
Evening was Rudrabhishek performed by Swami Pragyapaad followed by few very interesting Guru Stories. Satsang and Prasaadam. A scintillating dance performance by little kids from Meghalaya was the hot mix of the evening.
Jai Guru Dev

When we finished in Bangalore, Sri Sri entered the venue at German Ashram. Celebrations continue for ever.
